For over 5 years, we have changed the lives of so many people in Pakistan, approximately 35,000 people have been seen and about 5,000 people have been successfully operated on. Please find below some facts and figures about our work:

• EMAT held an eye camp in Liaquat-pur Pakistan from 05.10.04 to 13.10.04
• 8,875 patients attended the camp and each patient was given a free eye check up
• 918 patients underwent operations for cataracts - these operations were funded by EMAT (at a cost of £12 per patient to EMAT)

We are currently providing treatment to about 100 tuberculosis (TB) patients and we aim to substantially increase that number and this can only be done with your ongoing help and support.
